In In the Fall of 2022 Carol and Theresa visited Greece. Theresa has a thing for Santorini and really wanted to return. Carol offered to join her, and Ron found them a tour.

In the spring of 2022 the family chanced it with a trip to London. Everything worked out great since London was at an all-time Covid low.

Well, yes! In the spring of 2021 Ron and Carol’s friend Ruth let the family use her Orlando timeshare again. (Thanks Ruth!)

When the COVID outbreak started, Andrew figured that we could ‘shelter in place’ in a beach apartment as well as at home.

In the spring of 2019 the entire family visited family in South Carolina and then spent several days at Disney World.

In the fall of 2018 Ron and Carol spent 4 nights in Venice and then went on an 11-day cruise around Italy.

In the summer of 2018 the family spent a week in western North Carolinia visiting the cities of Cherokee and Asheville NC, and Gatlinburg TN.

In the fall of 2017 Ron and Carol went to South Africa visiting two cities and four nature reserves. They also got to visit the small country of Swaziland, now called Eswatini.

In the fall of 2016 Ron and Carol spent two weeks in Greece getting to visit inland sites and two islands.

In the summer of 2016 the family spent a wonderful weekend on Chincoteague Island and exploring Assateague Island National Park, home to the wild ponies.

Late in 2015 Ron and Carol took an 11 day RCI cruise of the northern Caribbean. It included 4 islands: Haiti, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and St. Maarten, all new to Ron and Carol.

In the summer of 2015 Ron flew back to California to travel cross country with his son Andrew to join his wife and child and start a new life in Virginia.

In the fall of 2014, Ron and Carol spent a week in Orlando FL spending very little time in reality.

In the spring of 2014 Ron and Carol took the overnight train to Chicago to visit for a week. Andrew, Theresa and Zoe flew in from California to join them.

In the spring of 2014 Ron and Carol received a 'free' cabin on a Carnival cruise. They only had to pay taxes. Ports of call were Port Canveral, Nassau and Freeport.

In December 2013 Ron and Carol spent 7 days in Berlin. They did five major museums, a bus tour, a boat tour and even a small walking tour. They were also able to visit three Christmas Markets.

In the summer of 2013, despite a recent tragedy in the family, Ron and Carol spend 3 days in London before going on a 12 day Baltic cruise. The vacation was blessedly diverting.

In the summer of 2012, Ron and Carol spent a few days around Rome and then took an 11 night Med. cruise.

In the spring of 2012, Carol and Ron spent a pleasant weekend celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary.

In the fall of 2011, Ron and Carol took a long weekend in Washington DC mainly to visit the museums. They had not done this since the '70s.

In the spring of 2011, Carol and Ron travel to Italy and took a cruise of the Western Med. They visited 4 cities in Italy, including Rome for the first time.

In the fall of 2010, Ron and Carol took a cruise to the Bahamas. It was their first time in the Caribbean. Besides the wonderful scenery, the Bahamian people are wonderfully friendly.

In the summer of 2010 Carol and Ron visited parts of New England and Canada. Ron had never been to Canada. Carol had been several times.

For their anniversary, Ron and Carol spend a weekend on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Late in 2009 Ron and Carol toured Costa Brava in Spain for a few days, then cruised the Mediterrean Sea visiting a total of 5 countries.

In December 2008 Carol and Ron took a one week train trip to New York City. They did a little touring, but mostly visited museums.

Late in 2007, Ron and Carol retired to Virginia from California. This is pictures of their road trip across the USA.

In 2007 Ron and Carol spent 11 days in Egypt on a great river cruise of Lake Nassar and the Nile.

In the fall of 2006 Carol and Ron visted the cities of London and Wells, and then skipped over to Prague for a few days.
